Get Down Saturday Night: Record Release Party
The Better Days Records label is officially back! We’re incredibly excited that Jon Voyage (WannaDance JP) is bringing the legendary Louisville imprint back to life with his EP “Maiden”.
Celebrate with WannaDance this Saturday July 11. Copies of the record will be available and we’ll spin tracks from the EP alongside the deep, soulful and disco-leaning selections that have made Saturdays our weekly home.
Maiden is four cuts of deep house, disco, and late-night grooves built for the dancefloor. From the spiky atmospherics of “See It Through” alongside the hazy strut-fest “Keyed It,” to the spooky progressive bounce of “Trickle Treat,” and the propulsive cosmic disco trip of “Gravitate,” the EP is a love letter to the sounds that inspire our nights behind the decks.
This release means a lot to us. Benman and Better Days have long been an important part of Louisville’s dance music story and seeing the label return with fresh vinyl is something worth celebrating. Huge thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.
